Well Rounded

 Scarlett's Dr. has brought to our attention that her head isnt, well rounded
She suffers from Plagiocephaly Positional.
Also known as flattened head syndrome.
Poor thing!! Its not as bad as it sounds &
Fortunately, positional plagiocephaly can be treated without surgery
It's most often the result of babies spending a lot of time lying on their backs or being in a position where the head is resting against a flat surface regularly
(such as in cribs, strollers, swings, and playpens).
We are working so hard to keep her off her head, unless shes asleep.
Tummy time, and Bumbo have been in constant rotation.
Her case is very mild, and so common. We take her back in Aug 12th
for a last evaluation. They will then decide if she will have to wear a
custom-molded helmet. I'm scared, I know this will interfere with her comfort.
This helmet must be worn 23 hrs a day. The helmet will redirect growth
and is the best for our sweet thing.
She could pull one off without effort, this Im sure of.
I'm just a momma with worries.
I'm praying for strength & for healing.
I have been blessed beyond measure. My girls have gods
fingerprints all over them.

Craving Fall

On the Computer I sit, I'm stuck to this chair.
 I knew it Would happen, I got on to do a quick blog & began
looking at Fall clothes & shoes.
Oh and Purses
I am so ready for my favorite season its ridic
I need to unload the dishwasher, mop, & workout..
I'm in such a boot mood.

Homemade Ice Cream

Ok, So my sweet tooth never left the building.
Hence my lovely Dental bills..(2 Cavities as we speak)
Hubs cringes when I return From a visit!
 Anyhoo I Came across  this version of homemade ice cream One
day In blog land and just Couldn't resist.
Glad I gave it a whirrl.. as in the words of Rachel Ray
 Yumm-O!

2 cups of heavy whipping cream, 1 can sweetened Condensed Milk, & any favorite candy or mix in your lil heart desires!! Twix have always been my fave..
Whip the cream till u get stiff peaks. In separate bowl mix ur Cond. milk & candy chopped..
Then fold into whipped cream

                                         Which will leave u with this..
Freeze and Enjoy.
Your taste buds will sing & dance & thank you!!

Mission Possible

Today I'm reminded of The extra's
Extra's on my waist, thighs & hips
As I'm getting out of the shower this morning
my Sweet 5 year old greeted me, happy to point out my problem areas.
Her Words were not so kind.
"how come your still a big momma, And your not pregnant anymore?''
So I stood in my mirror Smiling Through my sadness
I have to start a work out plan that fits my Schedule.
Eating better Included..
Its Possible, & its My mission.

Chaos

I must Be getting older..I truly enjoy a Day at Home.
No errands, Birthday parties, nothing on the Agenda. My Claire is Sick.
Sore throat & puke. The little bundle of energy is laying on the couch, pathetic.
Poor thing. I hate it, I wish I could be sick for her.
Makes you grateful for good health.
Yesterday I felt so sorry for her& myself. I had a major
momma meltdown..
A trip to our local urgent care did the trick.
Our pediatrician is a drive & I wasn't in the mood.
Bad Choice. Bit me in the rear. A backseat filled with throw up and
 I almost hit a man on his bike.
I couldn't wait to go to sleep last night. I plan to Clean and Organize today.
My body is Demanding so much coffee for some reason.
2 kids really is stress full. I heard it, didn't believe it, and I'm now living it.
Not saying I'm not enjoying it. I love us. This home and All the chaos.
I'm living my dream. Being a stay home mommy has always been in my prayers.
I've dreamt of having a warm and enchanting Nest filled with Babies & love.
Scarlett's toothless grin and sweet giggles make my day.
Claire is my lil sidekick. My best bud. Watching these two grow and Change
is an abundance of joy. But..I need to get away.
Away from boogers, tears, poopies, spit up. I want my husby to surprise me.
Whisk me away from my wonderful life..
Well My pantry awaits me. Its filled with junk..
Im all over the Place today..sorry

Creative & Domestic Ambitions

Lately I have had such a craving to be more creative, crafty & certainly domestic. Don't get me wrong, I have the tidiest house on the block, this I'm sure of. I wont have it any other way. I enjoy Cleaning & Cooking. I find cleaning to be therapeutic, strange I know. I just wish I were able to cook edible things. My mom and sisters are so graceful in the kitchen.  Myself however, well that gene skipped right over me. My meals always turn into a total nightmare. I continue to search for new and easy things for dinner, so when I come across a certain recipe that fits us I am tickled! My poor husby, he tries so hard to be supportive. He finds his own ways to let me know I failed generously. He will get this sad look on his face and Say ''well its unique hun" or "yah its good babe, but I never want it again'' I refuse to give up..My goal is to one day have Scarlett, Claire, & Garrett all agree that dinner was honestly Delicious!
