Living the Dream

Im loving everything right now, except the weather!
This house hold is more than ready for warmth and sunshine. The girls and I can
go on bike rides, picnics, and walk the dog. I can't wait to
spend another summer at the water park. The girls are growing
so quick. I love every moment we spend laughing, reading,
playing, doing homework. They amaze me & bring me to
my happy Place..

Christmas Day

Christmas was perfect to me.
I admit I wish we had gotten to see my nieces and nephews my sisters and brother and of course mom & dad. But the weather wouldn't allow the travel. Not to mention Scarlett had RSV. Lots of coughing and late nights, thank goodness that's behind us. I knew Christmas Eve, we were going to be snowed in, so I fought the crowd and bought everything to make our Christmas meal. Potatoes stuffing, a chicken, broc cheese Casserole, veggies, chocolate pie, & bread pudding. I was very impressed with myself!!
The day started early as usual. We did Santa took our time opening gifts and had a big breakfast. We played with toys and stayed in our Pjs all day. We ate around 3 & it was all delicious. The first stuffing I ever made. I cannot wait to go at it again next year.

December Delights

Well Christmas came and went just as usual. All the planning and stressing boils down to that day and it's over quite quickly.
I love coming up with traditions for our sweet lil fam. Of course with Pinterest the possibilities are endless. We looked at Christmas lights while sipping hot cocoa, watched Christmas movies in our Christmas Jammie's, did some Christmas baking, wrapping, decorating, & attended a Christmas service at our church.
(which was amazing)
All in all I must admit we are blessed. Next year, I hope to spread more cheer & adopt a family in need. Take them in & do gifts and food. It's important my girls see beyond all the the gifts & know how to give, give.
