 With all of the Elsa & Anna's everywhere I was actually exited for them to be different. I'm not a huge fan of store bought, I'd rather buy separates and piece them together a costume or make them one. Which is just what I did this year! Daddy helped out a bit, I must say I'm pretty proud of us

Trying to savor my time as a stay at home mom, & remain grateful. 

I don't want to rush raising my girls. I want to sit back & simply savor each and every little moment. 

Like a nice cup of coffee.

Writing for me has always proved to be therapeutic. So If you will..

Claire is at such a trying age.

With the eye rolls and constant rebuttal to my every word. I can't win with her, at least not today. I'm learning, to gracefully walk away. Although she knows just what buttons to push. Not sure if it's 3rd grade's harsh demands or if she truly hates me.  

I'm praying. I'm praying my 

Joyful, silly hearted Claire-Bear returns to me.

Mom Thoughts

Motherhood is...

Magical, messy, beautiful & downright hard. I'm humbled, overwhelmed & unkept most days. I'm a glorified maid, cook, & referee. Everything I do is usually for someone else.. This job is a calling. I always knew when I was younger, being a mother, a stay at home one was my destiny. Although I'm

Not perfect & not always certain of my decisions. One thing I do know. My girls are my everything. All things are based around them. My life and it's entirety! My whole existence is to be at their beckon call!! It's what I do! Soccer practice, Dance Classes, School parties, Birthday parties. The list continues to multiply! And at the end of the day I am so happy, fulfilled & yes run down. I feel so thankful. I love this life. 

They're growing up. Someday they'll both be adults deciding weather or not to have babies of their own. Weighing the pro's & Cons. Making hard decisions and giving up a lot of things in order to do so. Until that day comes, never will they know my love for their sweet little souls. I hope & pray they both look back at the mother I am & was, and say that's how I want to be!!

 The girl is such a free spirit, you wouldn't even know she walked into a new school. She is so un afraid of new. I just love that about her. She's outgoing and will make friends with anyone. 

I'm praying my girl has a great year. Full of wonderful friends and teachers who bless her life with love. I'm praying she grows & learns to her full capability!!

New Journey's & Life's Happenings

Summer has ended & I'm so thrilled for what this year has in store!! 

 Claire starts her new School Tuesday. I couldn't be more excited for her. We met the teacher, & toured the school at back to school night! I really think she's going to like it. She even has a sweet pal from dance in her home room! What a blessing! 

 The house is coming along..Everytime I drive by work is being done and lots has been completed. We may just get a Christmas miracle & be in mid December after all! 

I am forever grateful to my husband. Me being a stay at home mom is something I treasure. Being with my girls all summer long is so fun. Some days I become overwhelmed and low on fuel, I would honestly have it no other way!

I love 4th of July!! Honestly it's just a fun holiday for my family & I. We always attend a parade, cook out, do some fireworks, and end it all with a show somewhere!

 We met up with some friends this year, at a near by festival with food trucks and some moon bounces. The girls had a blast of course!

8 Is Great!

Sweet Claire turned 8!!

 I cannot believe how fast she's growing.

Still waiting for the day she decides sleeping in is wonderful. She wakes everyday around 645. Her inner alarm always wakes her. She's sweet & has a mind of her own. Still an avid bug & animal lover. She loves riding her bike, helping me cook, & is a fabulous reader. I am so proud of her. Her love for Jesus Christ & her family is true. She loves to read bible stories and take pictures of random things on her iPod. 

 We love ya so much sweet girl! Your such a blessing!

My how the years are flying. I remember growing up my dad would always
say to me. "Enjoy being a Kid, Adults have it rough" Lol boy was he right!
when I die I'd like to come back as a kid, perferably one of my kids!

A moment to Spair

 Claire is at a friends today. So nap time for Scarlett means Blog time for momma!!
   I have missed blogging about my girls and all the fun we've been having this
Summer! We have really enjoyed ourselves. We make trips for snow cones reguarly
which to me screams summer time. We Hit up the pool quite a bit.
 Hang in our jammies all morn & lots of jumping on the trampoline. Claire is playing indoor
soccer for the first time, lots of running for my girl, but she is all
about it! Shes done a soccer camp and is about to do another plus a tournament soon.
Im telling ya the girl eat sleeps and breathes soccer. We have been trying our best to
read and practice multiplying. I cant beleive my Sweet girl will be a third grader in a month or so!
Scarlett loves having sis home every day. They are super close. Some days they wanna pull
eachothers hair out, but most its lots of love. Claire has really done a great job as big sis.
I am very proud of her. Were in our rental house for a while. Its not my favorite!
But I will be fine because, Our new home is going to be so gorgeous I can hardly sit still!!
The girls will have an upstairs play room. Something I always wanted as a child..I will be
doing a completely different stlye design wise. I just love picking out interiors.
Also Our home will be a little bigger and Im excited about the school district.
This will be Scarletts last year at home with me, next year she will start pre k. Already?! Just seems plum insane!

Movin on

So.. we listed our home for sale. A decision we had been pondering for quite some time. Not thinking in 9 days time the thing we sell! That's our reality, so now we rent till our custom home is ready. Which I'm really trying to stay positive about. The build will take 5-6 months not long at all.

 I always want the best for my kids & feel like this move is honestly necessary. Claire has taken it so well. I really hope she adjusts & remains happy. Scar will be fine & could care less! As long as she has "a pink room"
I plan to spend the summer soaking up every bit of my girls as possible.

We have been so busy lately so I'm down for some summer!!

3 going on 13!

Sweet Scarlett is 3 & acts 13. She's so wise, beyond her years. She's so loving, & just sweet as can be.

 I truly feel as if time is against me. I love this age.. But man what I wouldn't give to have both girls, babies again. All the innocence, & the sweetness.

Ms. Scarlett couldn't be more different than her sis. A complete girly girl who screams at the sight of a bug. Who loves to play dress up, barbies, & babydolls! Playing in her kitchen is what she does best!

 She is a lover of frozen so we couldn't celebrate her day without Elsa & Anna birthday supplies. Just what the birthday girl demanded. 

I kept it pretty simple with a few snacks. Cupcakes with darling blue toppers I purchased at Hobby lobby.
