Miles Of Fun

Last Monday Garrett & I, loaded up our darlings and headed to Branson.
 We decided to take a mini vacay, so we joined Gs parents
and stayed at the Big Cedar lodge. Its nestled in The mountains where the views are breathtaking. Getting in touch with nature just a bit, wasn't so bad. We Enjoyed an early afternoon walk, where Claire's exploring sense lead her to many treasures. Bugs, leaves, rocks. Anything in her path is destined to belong in her adored collection. We dined at some new places, Did lots of swimming, and even went to a Noah's Ark musical. Which We all decided was our favorite of the entire trip. Letting Go

As I lay in bed alone with my thoughts. I'm saddened.
I'm a complete fan of silence, In fact I adore it. But this particular silence has
 me thinking. My heart is so full. It seems summer has come to an end. All the school
supplies purchased and in place. Her backpack and lunch pail hanging ready to be
put to good use, & the carefully selected first day of school outfit hanging & yearning
to see light.

Kindergarten

 Claire is tickled to begin. Which I'm not surprised, My Lil social butterfly is ready to flutter about
make new friends & especially have lunch at school. She promises to make me lots of pretty
pictures for the fridge. Which she always comes through! I'm overwhelmed with emotion
you see. Knowing this day would come all along, could never prepare my heart. The joyful/hurt has set in..Letting go. Its so hard

A Mom's Job Never Ends!!

  As a stay at home Mommy, I become quite ragged by Friday.

Infact when the clock reads 530 I get so tickled, knowing

hubs will be walking through the door. Relief. This makes my heart happy.

I will continue to believe by staying home, you offer your kids

the world. I'm blessed. We sacrifice things

so I can stay home. Our extras are limited. But not enough to make me go

to work. This week has been quite crazy. Claire was sick yet again, Scarlett had

her psychical therapy, and shots. Luckily my wonderful husby took off one

day to help out. That man, I just adore. The past 2 Saturdays he sent me off

for a spa facial. Diamond Dermabrasion (heaven)

Which I thoroughly enjoyed, afterwords I met up with my friend Jen for

 lunch and margs. He makes sure I'm rejuvenated and taken care of!

I'm so thankful for the health of my Kids& me. I'm able to play, &
take care of them. I'm worn down with a smile.
Scarlett is finally in her own crib & not thrilled.

I have been up with her the past 3 nights.

I have wished for years Claire would learn to sleep in.
This would be the perfect time to start. 

 I have come across so many recipes recently.
I am thrilled to make a few this weekend! Cant wait to share.

The Sweetest Occasion

Fri evening my handsome bubs Timmy, Married!
What a wonderful night it was. Brooke his new wife
is A doll. She has the funnest personality, is very confident,
assertive & successful. Qualities you don't always come across.
Garrett, Claire & I had the best time. Garrett's parents came over
and watched Scarlett for us. Thank goodness, this allowed us
to really relax and enjoy ourselves. The wedding took place at
a Country club, where everything was layed back & comfortable.
